A rare case of twins with Down syndrome enchants the internet

The maternal love of the American Nicole multiplied with the arrival of Blakely and Brynlee. She, who lives in the state of Kansas, already had two children when she became pregnant again and had a great surprise: she would have twins with Down's syndrome.

Twin cases with Down's syndrome are extremely rare: one or two of these between one million births. And to celebrate both love and happiness, Nicole asked photographer Laura Duggleby to rehearse the arrival of her babies.

The increases were higher in schools where teachers were supercontrollers. The study, published in the journal Child Development , was conducted by researchers at the University of Minnesota, Georgetown University, and the Oregon Social Learning Center in the United States.
