Actor Paulo Silvino dies at age 78 in Rio de Janeiro
The actor Paulo Silvino died on Thursday morning (17), at age 78. He has been battling stomach cancer since 2016. In social networks, his youngest son, John Paul Silvino, lamented the event: "May God receive you with open arms my beloved father."
Last year, the actor was underwent surgery but the cancer spread and the family chose to have the treatment done at home. Paulo leaves three children, Flávio Silvino, João Paulo Silvino and Isabela Silvino.
The comedian was known for his numerous works on television. His debut on TV Globo occurred in 1966, featuring Channel 0, a humorous program that satirized the programming of TV stations. However, his greatest successes were in Professor Raimundo's School (1993) and then in Zorra Total (1999> ), when he played the character Severino (who analyzes "face and badge").
