ANS suspends sale of 31 health plans

The National Health Agency (ANS) released on Thursday ( 30), the list of health plans that will have the sale suspended due to complaints related to health care coverage. The information is from the ANS.

The action is part of the periodic monitoring carried out by ANS. In this cycle will be suspended 31 health plans of 10 operators. The measure will take effect as of the 08 of this month. According to the Agency, the 167 thousand beneficiaries of the plans suspended in this cycle will be protected by the measure and will continue to have regular assistance.

According to the Director of Standards and Qualification of ANS Products, Karla Coelho, the Monitoring Program of Guarantee Service, from where the initiative started, aims to guarantee a more qualified assistance to the beneficiaries of the health insurance plans.
