On Tuesday (26), the National Health Surveillance Agency determined the on the national market of frozen beef and veal, Grã Filé, SIF / Dipoa 0049/206, batch manufactured on 3/22/2017 and expired on 22/3/2018 in the plastic package containing 500g. The meat in question was disapproved in tests done at the Central Laboratory of Public Health of Rio de Janeiro (Lacen-RJ) for presenting sulfite, a preservative forbidden by the Ministry of Agriculture (Map) in ground meat, according to two normative instructions of that Ministry: IN 83/2003 and IN 51/2006.

The Agency also determined that the meat should be collected by the manufacturer, Frisa-Frigorífico Rio Doce, a company based in Colatina (ES). The decision is published in this Tuesday's edition of the Official Gazette (DOU).
