At only one year, little Evelyn Moore is enchanting the internet. She was diagnosed with a neuroblastoma of stage 4 with a few months of life, undergoing eight cycles of chemotherapy to try to overcome the disease.

Although the cancer was regressing, the treatment took its movements from the waist down. Thinking about her daughter's well-being, the parents sought ideas for building a custom wheelchair, since the usual chairs would be too large for the child.

Doctors even thought the girl could crawl with the help of her arms , but the parents opted for the $ 100 chair, which was built using a pushchair, a board and wheels for a children's bicycle.

Even so young, little Evelyn already has the autonomy to move around without help. "I did not expect her to have as much willpower and adaptability," said Evelyn's father.

Parenting begins with respect for parents and teachers

The other day, I was visiting a school that was beginning my school year. There were several very small children in adjustment. Some mothers wept, others seemed restless, others irritated. The children were crying now, sometimes showing interest and curiosity. A very disturbing situation. Little by little, each one was taken to his room, accompanied by the teacher, "the aunt", and the little friends.

If you answered left, then it is part of the majority: about 70% to 85% of mothers take their little ones automatically to that side. And science has discovered why. A study at the State University of St Petersburg, Russia, published in the journal Nature Ecology and Evolution, found that carrying the child on the left side causes the right side of his body process information and emotions better.
