See how Michelle lost 103 kg with food re-education only

Supervisor Michelle Alice Esperidião, 29, always fought with the scale And over the years tried to make several diets, but always gave up. "I tried a diet with a shake to replace the meal, among others. At first, I even encouraged myself because I lost weight, but then quit because they were too restrictive and made me lose my motivation."

After getting frustrated on every diet, Michelle resumed its feeding. Their biggest weaknesses were: fast foods and exaggerated amounts. "I used a lot of fast foods, ate at least three times a week! I also ate a lot and I had no idea about that," he recalls. So, she reached 188 pounds!

At this point, Michelle was discouraged from dieting and was determined to have bariatric surgery. "But I discovered that to do the procedure I would need to lose some weight." So I enrolled in the Diet and Health weight loss program. "I had already tried the program in 2011 and gave up. So I decided to resume in early 2014 just to lose the weight needed to perform bariatric surgery."

Michelle just could not imagine that her decision to take the Diet and Health program seriously would help her change her way of relating to food.

Weight loss

At the beginning, the idea of re-educating eating habits was difficult for Michelle, mainly because of punctuation. "I could eat 50 points, but initially I would eat 100 points."

To overcome this barrier, she had to make a number of changes in her eating routine.

First, she abruptly reduced the amount of food she was eating. And also decided not to eat more fast-foods. "Because they are very punctuated and I would have to give up other things in my daily diet to consume them." In addition, she also went on to eat more whole foods, which were previously left out of her food well such as fruits, vegetables and vegetables. "I realized that I had no idea how much I ate, and worse, I had no idea how it was possible to survive without all that food, but with DS's help I discovered that it is possible," he celebrates. all these changes, Michelle saw the numbers of the scale diminish quickly and soon the idea of performing a bariatric surgery did not make sense anymore. Even more because with the Diet and Health the weight loss occurred without restrictions to any food. "As I was losing weight, I realized that this was the way, so I decided that I did not need surgery, I would continue with DS." The result? Michelle reveals that during the entire weight loss process her biggest challenge was not to give up. "There were a few times when I was feeling a bit of dismay, especially when my weight was stationary, but I kept on with my diet and went back to losing weight."

Now it's only 21 kg left for Michelle to reach the 70 kg goal. "And I'm sure I'll be able to reach my goal."

For those planning to start dieting, Michelle has a message. "The most important thing is to know that dietary fluctuations will occur, but you can not let it shake you and the next day you have to start a diet again."
