journalist Marcelo Rezende died on Saturday (16) at Moriah Hospital in São Paulo due to multiple bankruptcy of organs, caused by pancreatic cancer.

Rezende was hospitalized at Moriah Hospital since last Tuesday (12). The journalist was admitted to the hospital to treat severe pneumonia.

Rezende was diagnosed in May of this year with pancreatic cancer with mastastase in the liver.

The journalist used to talk about his health on his Instagram. When he was diagnosed, Rezende even had a chemotherapy session but did not continue the treatment. At the time Rezende would have started to make an alternative treatment, following the ketogenic diet.
