Liposuction: Know Everything About Surgery and Recovery
Liposuction surgery consists of aspirating fat through cannulas. It can be made in various parts of the body, as long as there is localized fat. Surgery can be classified into small, medium or large, varying according to the amount of fat removed and body parts addressed.

Klein's solution - consisting of saline and adrenaline - is first infiltrated - to reduce the chances of bleeding and, consequently, surgical trauma. Mini-liposuction: is exactly like liposuction but it is done in a smaller area, being faster and taking only local or epidural anesthesia.
Time of surgery
"The duration of liposuction depends greatly on the extent and area to be aspirated, but on average , the procedure takes 3 to 4 hours, "explains plastic surgeon Erick de Oliveira, of the Brazilian Society of Plastic Surgery.
Preoperative
The patient must fast in the eight hours prior to surgery. Blood and cardiologic examinations and chest radiography are fundamental before liposuction. The surgeon may also order ultrasound from the region to be operated and doppler (examination that allows visualization of the blood vessels) of the legs to check for blood thrombi.
Associated cosmetic surgeries
