Shocking video shows girl who has been living with her heart out of her breast for seven years

At only 7 years old, a little Russian girl has shocked and inspired many people with her story. The little Virsaviya "Bathsheba" Borun-Goncharova was born with a rare condition, called Pentalogia de Cantrell, which is characterized by having the heart out of the chest.

After the girl's birth, doctors warned her mother, Dari Borun, that Virsaviya would die. However, despite her condition, the girl does activities like any other child of her life, she goes to school, practices dancing, knows how to swim and even does some work as a model.

Cantrell Pentalogy affects 5.5 babies to every million births and the severity of the disorder may vary from case to case.

Recently, her family shared a video in which Virsaviya appears laughing and her heart pounding rapidly out of the body. In the filming, a woman, who is believed to be her mother, can be seen stirring in her heart while the girl is lying in bed.

Due to the condition, the Virsaviya family decided to move to Boston, United States, as the goal of finding a doctor willing to treat their rare disease requiring surgery. For this to happen, in 2015 the girl's mother made a fundraiser, asking for donations to cover her daughter's medical expenses. They were able to raise more than $ 70,000.

However, doctors warned that she was not able to undergo surgery because of high blood pressure. So the experts told the mother that the girl could have a good quality of life if she continued taking the medication and lived in a warm place. For that reason, they moved to Florida, where they live today, since the cold in Boston impaired the quality of life of the girl.

Gases during pregnancy: learn how to control

Gases during pregnancy: learn how to control

The human usually has a small amount of gas in the intestine, but the pregnant women have a greater propensity to present symptoms like excessive flatulence and abdominal distension, especially by the increase of a hormone called progesterone. Absolutely necessary for normal gestation, this increased concentration of progesterone leads to less contraction of the smooth muscles, responsible for the motility (movement) of the digestive tract.
