Wendy Epperly-Miller weighs 81 kg and makes collective funding to remove excess skin

In 2014, Wendy Epperly-Miller weighed 215 kg. When she realized that her health was at risk and unable to perform daily activities, such as caring for her daughters, she decided to change her life. With dedication, therapy and balanced diet, she was able to eliminate 81 kg.

However, she is currently faced with a new goal: to eliminate 12 kg of excess skin due to weight loss.

The nuisance due to excess of skin is not just aesthetic. Wendy also suffers from constant rashes

In order to remove excess skin, Wendy will need to undergo five surgeries. Thus, as a way to try to get the money to carry out the procedures, she resorted to collective financing. The goal is to raise $ 30,000.

In a statement to the international media, Wendy said she felt trapped in her body because of the excess skin. The disturbance is not only aesthetic but also physical, as it causes Wendy to constantly have rashes and difficulty moving around.

Physical and emotional transformation

Wendy recalls that she was always overweight and that therapy helped her identify the emotional triggers that made her eat foods high in fat and in large amounts.

She hopes to raise money for surgical procedures and inspire others to fight obesity.

Care for the elderly

The ADA recommends that people stop smoking, as smoking increases the problems of gum disease, dental caries, and dental loss, and visit your dentist regularly for a complete dental check-up.
